My Story
I've never believed that learning should have boundaries.
My story is the story of curiosity, a lifelong pursuit of understanding not only how the world works, but why it works the way it does, and how we can make better decisions within it.
Over the years, my curiosity has led me through an unusual landscape of ideas. I've explored mathematics and quantum physics, engineering and programming, philosophy and politics, economics and management, database design and statistics, data analysis and machine learning. At first glance, these subjects seem to belong to different worlds. To me, they have always been pieces of the same puzzle.
My academic journey began in Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering, both at two of Iran's leading universities. It was a rewarding experience, but I gradually realized something important: I wasn't simply interested in building structures, I was fascinated by building understanding. I wanted to uncover patterns, explain complexity, and solve problems that didn't come with instruction manuals.
That realization drew me toward computer science and eventually into the world of data. The analytical nature of programming, algorithms, and machine learning felt like a natural extension of the way my mind had always worked. I found joy in turning uncertainty into insight and complexity into clarity.
But while I was moving deeper into technology, another part of me refused to let go of the humanities.
The worlds of philosophy and data science often seem to speak different languages. One asks what ought to be true; the other asks what is true. One explores meaning, values, and human nature; the other searches for evidence, patterns, and prediction. Instead of choosing between them, I chose to live in both.
That decision shaped who I am.
Alongside my technical education, I immersed myself in moral philosophy, political philosophy, anthropology, and economics. These disciplines taught me that behind every dataset is a human story, behind every model is a decision, and behind every decision is a set of values. They reminded me that numbers rarely exist in isolation, they exist in context.
Today, I approach problems from multiple dimensions. I try to see systems rather than isolated events, relationships rather than disconnected facts. I enjoy connecting ideas that don't usually meet, combining analytical thinking with human understanding, and transforming complexity into practical, strategic solutions.
I've chosen data analysis, statistics, and machine learning as the craft I want to master. Becoming a true specialist in these fields is my primary mission. Yet I also believe that expertise grows stronger when it is nourished by knowledge beyond its own borders. My goal is not only to deepen my specialization but also to remain a lifelong generalist, someone who continuously learns from diverse disciplines and brings those perspectives together.
That pursuit has led me to study operations research, game theory, systems thinking, complexity theory, and critical thinking. Each field has become another lens through which I can understand uncertainty, improve decisions, and solve problems more thoughtfully.
I don't measure success by how much I already know.
I measure it by how much wonder I still have.
There will always be another question worth asking, another idea waiting to be connected, another perspective capable of changing the way I think. That's what keeps me moving forward.
As long as there is something left to learn, I'll keep exploring.
